Hi, I'm Robert Roth (evfool) and I've been part of the bugsquad for more than a year now. Some of you may have seen my name on IRC or in bug comments. Now I would like to apply for a membership in the ubuntu bug control team. So here comes my application:
- Do you promise to be polite to bug reporters even if they are rude to you or Ubuntu? Have you signed the Ubuntu Code of Conduct? *Yes I will be polite to any reporters and I've signed the Code of Contuct. - Have you read Bugs/HowToTriage, Bugs/Assignment, Bugs/Status and Bugs/Importance? Do you have any questions about that documentation? *Yes I have read them and I don't have any questions. - What sensitive data should you look for in a private Apport crash report bug before making it public? *Personal information like bank account numbers, passwords, email addresses, server addresses in the stacktraces and Coredump.gz attachment in the bug. - Is there a particular package or group of packages that you are interested in helping out with? *Yes, I am particularly interested in Ubuntu default applications (GUI) and GNOME apps (GUI). - Bug list: *https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/eog/+bug/658618 - This is a valid bug, with enough information to reproduce and upstream task attached, and it is ready to be worked on, so it should be Triaged. The importance should be Low, as it is an easy-to-fix cosmetic issue. *https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gcalctool/+bug/721140 - This is a valid bug, with enough information, requesting a for an application, thus it should be set as Triaged with importance Wishlist *https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gcalctool/+bug/659624 - Valid bug with enough information to reproduce and ready to be worked on, should be set as Triaged with the importance Low as it is an easy-to-fix cosmetic issue *https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-disk-utility/+bug/727415 - Valid bug with enough information to reproduce and ready to be worked on, importance should be Low as it affects unusual configurations. *https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntuone-control-panel/+bug/727130 - Valid bug with enough information to reproduce and ready to start working on, importance should be Low as it is only a cosmetic issue.
