Public bug reported:

After the xorg-server update to 2:21.1.12-1ubuntu1.8 (noble-updates),
xrdp can no longer start X sessions: the xorgxrdp modules fail to load.
The breakage only becomes visible after a reboot — a long-running
session keeps working until then, because the X server had loaded its
modules into memory before the update.

~/.xorgxrdp.10.log after the reboot:

(EE) Failed to load /usr/lib/xorg/modules/libxorgxrdp.so: undefined symbol:
glamor_xv_init
(EE) Failed to load module "xorgxrdp" (loader failed, 0)
(EE) Failed to load module "xrdpdev" (loader failed, 0)
...
(EE) parse_vt_settings: Cannot open /dev/tty0 (Permission denied)

Analysis:

- The server no longer exports the symbol:
  nm -D /usr/lib/xorg/Xorg | grep glamor_xv_init   -> (no output)
- The module still references it:
  nm -D /usr/lib/xorg/modules/libxorgxrdp.so | grep glamor_xv_init  -> U
glamor_xv_init
- xrdpdev_drv.so, xrdpkeyb_drv.so and xrdpmouse_drv.so all reference symbols
from libxorgxrdp.so, so all xorgxrdp modules fail once it fails to load.
- xorgxrdp 1:0.9.19-1 appears to never have been rebuilt against the 21.1.12
SRU.

Tested workaround: xrdp 0.10.1 + xorgxrdp 0.10.2 from Debian trixie work
with this server, provided /etc/X11/xrdp/xorg.conf loads glamoregl
before xorgxrdp (the 0.10.x modules fetch the missing symbol from
libglamoregl.so, which noble does export).

Request: please rebuild xorgxrdp for noble against the current xorg-
server SRU so that the packaged version matches the server ABI again.

** Affects: xorgxrdp (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
