Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-main-menu
Hi gnome 2.24 in ubuntu replaced the all-in-one logout sessionshutdown button. Now that this has happened the gnome-main-menu only provides an option to log out, not to shutdown the computer. I think this is a patch in ubuntu because in opensuse's implementation this option is visible: http://reverendted.files.wordpress.com/2007/02/main-menu-video- screenshot.png thanks Using intrepid up to date. gnome-main-menu: gnome-main-menu: Instalados: 0.9.10+dfsg-0ubuntu1 Candidato: 0.9.10+dfsg-0ubuntu1 Tabla de versiĆ³n: *** 0.9.10+dfsg-0ubuntu1 0 500 http://archive.ubuntu.com intrepid/universe Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ** Affects: gnome-main-menu (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Summary changed: - gnome-main-menu should provide a button to halt computer/reboot + gnome-main-menu should provide a button to shutdown -- gnome-main-menu should provide a button to shutdown https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/275165 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
