Here are my informations:

1. Fresh system from CD (8.10 Alpha 5). No configuration taken from old
system, only two files with the keyrings.

2. No upgrade from Hardy.

3. WPA-PSK (?) (WPA2 Personal)

4. Connect after manual input of password on first attemp in 95+%.

5. I have to enter the password after reboot or reload of driver (no
connect after resume from standy/hibernate possible without modprobe
-r...). When disconnecting and reconnecting passphrase is remembered
(but not saved to keyring).

My /etc/network/interfaces (original version from installation, never changed):
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

(BTW: How can I attach two files?)
