I have the same problem in my house. I use Intrepid which I update everyday, a IPW3945 with iwl3945 driver and NetworkManager to connect to my home wifi which is protected with WPA2 personal. I can't connect and obtain a line "Link timed out" and "Association took too long" at the next line in the daemon.log.
