Ok, I will upgrade only the kernel, and later (if still dont work) i'll upgrade to 8.10. I supposed that is simple to install the new kernel, because all the upgrade will take along time, and sometimes don't adapted to the old version, we can try first with the kernel, in my opinion. Because like you said, the aplications dont change, only wifi support will increased and others features, but, i'm only use the distro to connect to internet with adsl, read mail, write docs and watch videos, listen music....
Also can upgrade, install, some package that were related with acpi?, right? my only bug is this, shutdown incorrect -- Computer automatically turns on after proper shutdown from ubuntu https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/253629 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
