Hi Alfonso, thanks for the attachments. Please also attach your /var/log/dmesg, /var/log/Xorg.0.log.old and eventually your .Xsession-errors (in your home dir).
Some questions: * When at the black screen, does ctrl+alt+backspace restart X? * When at the black screen, can you ssh into the system from another computer? * Have you tried an older version of Ubuntu? Did it work with suspend and resume? A backtrace would be very helpful for us to be able to track down the problem. But it requires you to ssh into the system. https://wiki.ubuntu.com/X/Backtracing. I am not sure if this will work though - perhaps suspend kills the ssh connection, but please try it anyway. Thanks again. //magnus -- 945GM blank screen after resume, Ctrl-Alt-F1 gets to login https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/300672 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
