I am also having this issue. I'm using the latest nvidia driver with a fresh install of Ibex on a new laptop.
It seems to be related to either firefox or certain network operations. There are certain websites that if I go to it will happen 100% of the time. IE: farechase.yahoo.com, or kohanaphp.com. KohoanaPHP.com is the easiest to reproduce. 1. Boot ubuntu 2. load firefox 3. visit http://www.kohanaphp.com/ Can someone verify my claim that a) it seems to be network/firefox related, and b) that www.kohanaphp.com causes their system to become unresponsive?
