Jan: Are you able to do several subsequent suspend/resume cycles successfully? I have almost the same hardware than you (E6400 with GM45 and Intel 5300). My resume works perfect the first time. When I did it the second time, the touchpad did not work correctly. It behaved like it was in PS/2 emulation mode. The third time, the problems became even bigger: the system could not make a WiFi connection, and CPU1 was locked up at 100% by a process called events/0.
I am currently using the latest kernel (2.6.27.11), however, I am on kubuntu 8.10 (with KDE 4.2 beta2). Can you test several suspend/resumes on your machine in order to find out whether this could possibly be a KDE-specific issue? The problem with the locked up CPU1 I also got frequently in the previous kernel version(s). -- Resume from suspend doesn't not work on the Mobile 4 Series chipsets https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/276943 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
