Even worse, now that I tested it more thoroughly. After the 2nd standby/resume cycle, the display stayed blank, even though X/KDE seem to have been back, judged by the LED activity. Alt-Ctrl-Backspace got it back, but in the wrong resolution. After that, all further standby/resume cycles worked fine. [Update: maybe this was related to the fact that I still had the CPU-shutdown-workaround installed. After I removed it, it seems to standby/resume much more stable. Still wifi turned off after certain cycles, and monitor detection popup.]
Suspend/resume cycles seem to be completely stable now, beside the flickering. I've seen then touchpad issues too with my first testing after the kernel update, but not anymore. -- Resume from suspend doesn't not work on the Mobile 4 Series chipsets https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/276943 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
