In some sense it is a regression with regards to hardy: All the applications that I had configured to print via kprinter do not print anymore in kubuntu intrepid. The thing has already been discussed in the forums (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=983213).
So it would be great to see it treated as a regression. On the other side, KDE 4.2 is just round the corner, before proceeding I think we'd better check if a kprinter app has been reintroduced with it. For sure, on the kde mailing lists there is discussion of a kprinter thing, but it is never clear if the reference is to the kde print dialog or to a kprinter application or both. Definitively, being the dialog there, building the application should be very fast (might it be the case that the app is already there but the build system fails to make it for some reason?) -- kubuntu intrepid misses a "kprinter" application https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/303685 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
