This is not a missing package, merely a missing file. The dlocatedb is
not created immediately after you install dlocate; rather, a nightly
cron job which updates this file is installed. The postinstall script
also creates this file, but it is run asynchronously, so it might not
yet have finished by the time you tried to run dlocate. (This is
slightly puzzling; the file should already exist by that point, although
it might be empty.)
Anyway, could you please confirm that the file does exist on your system
now. If not, please reopen this bug (change its state from "Invalid" to
"New") so we can follow up. Thanks.
