Though this bug is marked as 'fix released', the problem still exists, at least for me, in fully updated Jaunty alpha on 27 Feb 2009.
I have enabled 'Lock screen on resume' in System Settings / Power Management / General Settings. When I suspend from the Powerdevil battery monitor plasmoid, screen is locked on resume, as it should. But if I suspend from the Kickoff menu, or from the command line by executing pm-suspend, the screen is *not* locked when coming back. This is definitely an important security issue. -- Suspend from KDE4-Menu (Kickoff) will not lock screen on resume https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/284055 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kdebase-workspace in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
