@lesodk. Thanks for pointing this out. This is exactly the kind of feedback we need to move forward and improve the overall experience. Can you please boot the jaunty live CD and while using the -ati driver run the command "ubuntu-bug xserver-xorg-video-ati" to open a good bug report on this issue. Once we have specific bug reports with sufficient logs/data (so we know what chipsets/cards are affected) we can push this upstream to the -ati devs.
