I confirm unusual behavior in Jaunty: - most notifications are not displayed (e.g. the inhibit-sleep warning, although power manager is configured to display it). - "sudden death": notebook switches off due to critical battery status, without power manager having displayed a warning, and without having executed the "critical action".
