Well, in full detail, the boot-up screen is greyscale and incomplete - the progress bar looks like a bunch of artifacts.
The login screen then appears as normal - in color - and then I can enter Ubuntu. I can even use Beryl. The problem I have is when I am shutting down. The bug has appeared ever since I installed Ubuntu 6.10 x86-64, which was a couple days ago.
