i have something to add if it can be helpful i have realized that the problem of sending/receiving files is not a constant: it occurs only with those MSN-contacts who have the last version of MSN (the one published in 2009) while no problem exists with contact with previous versions... if it is of any help, i've checked that the same happens with emesene (so i think there's something wrong with the last version of MSN...)
