Not only do you seem to have a fragile ego, but if you leave other more important tasks aside then that is poor prioritization on your part. Please don't blame me for any shortcomings you may have.
Again and JFTR, this so-called "non-bug" led to real problems for me when upgrading Jaunty->Karmic (partially documented in comment 6). This should largely be fixed now with the packages being removed from the official repo. I haven't heard a suggestion for a better place to report this kind of issue than LP so far. If a different package or project would have been more appropriate, it would have been easy enough to move it over there. I don't think there is and thus I will ignore whatever ranting, fragile-ego Scott thinks he has to tell the world on this issue. -- [karmic] upstart-logd and upstart-compat-sysv packages uninstallable https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/398474 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
