Workaround from #32 has so far after 12 reboots worked fine on my affected Dell Mini 10v netbooks with a "Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/GMS/GME, 943/940GML Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03)". I'm running karmic beta with all latest updates.
