Sorry, forgot to mention. On ubuntu alpha 3/4/5/6 I didn't trapped into this. My hardware: ASUS A7V880, Athlon XP 2500+, NVidia GF6600GT AGP, 1.5Gig RAM. Hardware wasn't changed recently.
