@tiger99 - The issue you describe in comment #346 is a completely different issue to this bug. You need to file a new bug. This bug is fixed, and the fix has been released.
Also, when filing the new bug, please attach the output of lsusb and be more specific about which "latest fix" broke vodafone-mobile-connect - are you referring to 2.6.31-15.50 or 2.6.31-16.52? Please also attach the contents of dmesg. @Richard Wikberg - who said that Ubuntu 9.10 is the version to compete with Win7? I haven't seen anyone on ubuntu.com or wiki.ubuntu.com or launchpad say that - if you have please point me to the appropriate page.
