Okay, I got the Strace done, but the file is ~168 MB and is not
attaching. Is that normal?

Also, I am trying to run the Backtrace, but when I run:

gdb soffice 2>&1 | tee ~/gdb-soffice.txt (gdb) handle SIG33 pass nostop
noprint (gdb) set pagination 0 (gdb) run

I keep getting

bash: syntax error near unexpected token `('

Any hints?

As for what I am doing when the crashes occur: just browsing. The most
recent one, when I was running the Strace, I had just restarted FF after
an update and had tabs open for Twitter, Gmail, Google Reader, Bit.ly,
and Yahoo mail. I probably opened and closed 10 or 15 tabs to other
sites, including this one, and did not, to my knowledge, directly
interact with any Flash or Javascript (that is, I did not watch or
listen to any flash objects or click and JS links). Just a normal
browsing session that lasted about ten minutes. I did have FF open
before OO, if that helps, although I have experienced crashes when I
have OO open first.
