both ekiga 3.2.5 and ekiga-snapshot give me this error on Karmic. I used to use ekiga with voipcheap.com It is a pretty mystical nuisance, since it used to work flawlessly on jaunty. The same is true for linphone-3, which constantly asks for a password and finally gives "cannot reach" error I use blockcontrol.
