The last thing worked on my computer. Actually, I deleted all
portforwarding concerning sip and stun on my router and commented out
sip_port definition in the .linphonerc file. Copied this file to
.gnome2/linphone for the gui linphone client. THis seems to fix the
problem for both. Well, it sounds like specifying sip ports seems to
confuse a sip program on karmic, while it did not on jaunty ???? I will
try editing this stuff with gconf-editor for ekiga now
