JFo The 2 notebooks are now running Kernel 2.6.31.16-generic as neither PC will boot up if I apply the update. Do you want me to still run the command under 2.6.31.16? Also, I am very new to Linux, so please bear with me when it comes to questions/answers/command-line entry/etc
