@Andreas Schildbach: I'm not terribly familiar with ddcprobe, and documentation is sparse, so I'm guessing that the "mode:" lines at the top are referring to your internal LVDS screen, and the "*timing:" lines at the bottom refer to your external monitor.
1. The mode lines suggest that your native resolution is 1280x1024, not 1280x768 as stated in the bug report. If that's correct, please update the original report with the 1280x1024 resolution. 2. Viewing the resolution from the bios output to your external monitor doesn't really help us because we are concerned with the internal monitor. The bios could use different modes depending on which monitor it is outputting to. -- [i915gm] Intel/KMS: Missing 1024 x 768 mode (regression from Jaunty) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/432401 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
