This also affects the Lenovo W510 (multiple models) and probably affects
the T410s as well.

The upstream bug report is stalled because I can't sort out how to
compile a kernel the "ubuntu way" under Lucid - the latest public
documentation I can find is still targeting Karmic, and a lot of the
scripts, etc have changed.  They're looking for a kernel to be compiled
with the ACPI_PROCESSOR code compiled as a module so it can be unloaded,
or disabled altogether.
