I have insights into eclipse. The package has to build depend on default-jdk. First default-jdk will provide the correct jdk on all architectures. Second java6-sdk is not in universe. Third java6-sdk is not free (libre) enough.
The package should depends on alternative runtimes (e.g. "default-jre- headless | java1-runtime-headless | java2-runtime-headless | java6 -runtime-headless | java5-runtime-headless"). You may want to use jh_depends from the javahelper package. Please open a bug report in Debian and link it here. The bug should be fixed in Debian and synced to Ubuntu. -- sat4j has a bogus specific depdencency on openjdk https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/511303 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
