Daniel, thanks for everything. Is there anything else we can do to help get this moved forward? Additional hardware profiles? I just did a fresh install of 10.04LTS 64 (with xfi audio). My sound started off muted. Unmuted and switched to 5.1 + mono in and had the same result.
Switching to 2ch and 1 mono in has restored sound for now. Thanks again for sticking through this.
