hi, greetings, i too have the same problem. i have already started a thread in ubuntuforums on this. http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1474999 i have noticed that this happens with all programmes. i am trying to install all 'compiz' packages as suggested by Draycen DeCator. i have found that open windows look alright in 'failsafe gnome' mode. i will install compiz packages and then try booting in normal 'gnome mode' jason - maybe you should try failsafe mode until this problem is fixed instead of going back on version. have a nice day.
