Hello The new kernel does not seem to work perfectly. Currently, I am down to a transfer rate of 800 kb/s which is still better than the previous ca. 200 kb/s.
I switched WLAN off and on using the radio kill switch but it did not make a difference. The dmesg-log mentioned that the regulatory settings have been restored. Btw: how can Ubuntu / driver figure out which are the correct regulatory settings? I am using an US keyboard layout, US-language settings etc. Only my time zone is set to Europe/City. I will keep testing the new kernel since it is better.
