I also had the same issues as reported by many, the most cited being
Kyle [ https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update-
manager/+bug/84717/comments/110 ]. On my laptop, which was done this
weekend, I must have either waited long enough, or hit "Cancel" on the
error as things did eventually finish out.

Armed with that weekend experience, when I did my desktop here at work,
I thought I would be smart and kill the error box when it came up. For
some reason, this killed the whole upgrade process. I restarted Adept,
updating the list again, but was not prompted to restart the upgrade.

Not sure of what else to do, I rebooted. Things came up fine, ... sort
of. It is very clear that the new KDE themes were not applied or
properly configured. There may be other issues.

So, my question is:

Is there anyway to re-run just the "Clean-up" phase of the upgrader by-
hand?
