You can move the window so you get at the resize control by holding down
alt while dragging with the cursor positioned within the Emacs window.
Also, the workaround in bug #548846 should fix this for you. I am
provisionally marking this bug as a duplicate of #548846; please remove
the duplicate marking if yours is a different problem after all.
