Hi folks, If this still is a problem on Maverick, and you have the same hardware as the original bug reporter (see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Audio/SameHardware ), can you please supply a PulseAudio verbose log according to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PulseAudio/Log ? The log must be supplied on a standard Maverick system, e g a Live-CD, that is, without a changed default.pa as workaround suggested.
