LjL on irc://irc.freenode.net/ubuntu recommended me to use equivs, so I picked ubuntu-desktop's config file, replaced "ubuntu-desktop" with "ubuntu-desktop-lite" and "Recommends:" with "Suggests:", created a .deb with it and installed it, removing ubuntu-desktop afterwards. This is a workaround that can be helpful in similar cases, so I put it here in case somebody else needs it.
