I think I found a way around the bug. I performed the upgrade through the synaptic package manager and reinstalled the package afterward.
But after that I still had a dependency problem, as I see it, the cairo- dock (and its plugins) were conflicting with the libwebkitgtk. The way I found that out was by manually installing the libwebkitgtk (after having recieved several dep problem concerning this library). This installation remove some of the cairo plugins. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/702988 Title: Natty partial upgrade error: ubuntu-desktop cannot be installed -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
