Sounds a bit tragic. For some people it would work. There is a whole
world outside the computer screen. :-)

Sounds perfect. This is exactly what the workaround Bug 625809 suggests.
I'd expect very few bug reports and many many more happy Firefox users
if the problem is turned around like this.
