After some time of using Cairo-dock after the upgrade from 10.10 to 11.04 I have issues that freeze my screen. I have had several times a complete hang of my PC. In some cases I could ctrl+alt+f1 to get to a terminal. Top showed compiz running at 100% cpu. It seems to be a cairo/compiz issue. Perhaps this is related to the changes for Unity in Ubuntu?
I experienced this in both the classic login and the unity login.
