I have an ibook (G3) with Ethernet and Wifi. Have the same problem on
both network types - dhclient3 occasionally sits at very high
utilizations sending *many* requests per minute - enough to cause
serious network problems to other users (no fun!). Given that it happens
on my home WiFi and on two well-configured corporate LANs I'm not
convinced that "misconfiguration" of firewalls or DHCP servers is the
root issue. Let me know what tests/dumps I should do to clarify...

PS: Looks like #42477 is either related or is the same issue.
