Ricardo Salveti,

1, ehci issue

- see the detailed log of ehci failure in attachment of #2, please point
out if you think it is still not enough for you.

- The MLO in http://people.canonical.com/~rsalveti/784421/MLO still doesn't
make ehci of my pandaboard work, same with
nattay release.

- I can make sure the commit is workable in
git://git.omapzoom.org/repo/x-loader.git #omap4_dev

commit ddfbd9c82c8eb11f20082bc11a6cfbb92ce4d4d3
Author: Vikram Pandita <vikram.pand...@ti.com>
Date: Fri Jan 28 14:38:53 2011 -0800

    gpio: enable gpio bank4 access

    GPIO-121 lies in GPIO bank4.
This is needed on panda board to detect the GPIO_121 button press

    Signed-off-by: Vikram Pandita <vikram.pand...@ti.com>

- could you let me know which commit is used by x-loader of natty release? If
you can, I will try to git
bisect to find which commit does fix the issue.

2, slow boot

- 'swapon -a' by hand is very quick if i remove the swap entry in
/etc/fstab

- even I remove the swap entry which decreases about ~2min, ubuntu still need
to take ~2min
to show the login UI on my panda, seems there is still something wrong between
 kernel: [ 83.585784]
and kernel: [ 158.211914], where about 1min is consumed but I don't know who
does it. For detailed info,
see attached syslog.

- also another related question:
-- suppose gdm-simple-greeter will display the login UI, so who will
trigger it? How to trace it?

thanks,
