A very prompt response, Florian, and appreciated. I'm uploading a screenshot - attached.
However, I'm suspicious now that I've collapsed together a bug intended for unity and targeted unity-2d by mistake. Not sure how the structure of these two projects are separated if at all. It's the default spread behaviour on a 3d-accelerated Natty Unity install which you'll see in the screenshot, and for which this bug is intended. The screenshot actually shows fewer windows than I often have open, but you get the idea - a lot of space and not much thumbnails. It may be aesthetic for some people, but it's not very functional for me. ** Attachment added: "Screenshot showing large spaces around thumbnails, making them smaller than necessary." https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity-2d/+bug/796020/+attachment/2167303/+files/spread-screenshot.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/796020 Title: Spread icons too small To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity-2d/+bug/796020/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
