Yep, absolutely confirmed that the mouse is the underlying cause. I was not one of the ones with the "slower over time" problem, it's either 100% in your face, or not there at all it seems.
I can actually do you one better. If I leave both mice plugged in, moving windows with the Microsoft mouse is very smooth, and moving windows with the logitech is choppy/unusable. I can unplug/replug these mice in, in any order, and have it exhibit the exact same behavior. I've also tried another G700 I have in the house, and it does the same thing (e.g. not simply a bad mouse).
