Perhaps not. At this point it appears there's missing driver support for
your touchpad. Adding driver support can be a difficult reverse-
engineering effort, as often protocol specifications for touchpads are
not made available.

It would be helpful if you could at a minimum identify who is the
manufacturer of your touchpad (unfortunately this information cannot be
easily probed from touchpads). One way to do this would be to boot into
the copy of Windows that was (presumably) provided by the manufacturer,
open the device manager, and see what driver is in use for the touchpad,
which will usually tell you who made the touchpad. Another option would
be to go to the manufacturer's website and find the touchpad driver for
your model and see if the manufacturer is identified, or inquire with
the manufacturer directly. If we can confidently identify the
manufacturer of the touchpad there's a chance that only simple driver
changes are required, but no guarantee.
