So to be clear, the design of Unity is that when I want to unminimize a
single window, all windows of the same application are unminimized?

If I have 25 gvim windows open but all minimized, I have to unminimize
all 25 of them and then cycle through all 25 of them to find the one I
am actually interested in?

How can this be considered "improvement" in any way?
