Cache currently has 340 thumbnails, thumbnails from Feb. 16th still exist. I didn't run Totem every day (catched a bad cold), so four days are missing and the cache would probably have more thumbnails. I'll monitor the next days if it deletes the oldest.
The 10+ MBs are not a problem on local hd. The problem was that I wasn't aware of the growing size of that folder, until then all my backups incl. those few hundred thumbnails and doing a sync meant there have been over 3000 thumbnails until I've learned about it. Of course they've been deleted and the folder finally excluded. When syncing with an external hd that may be not dramatic but with a cloud it's just a waste of upload time and space. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/932364 Title: Cache flood on every launch of totem To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/totem-plugin-arte/+bug/932364/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
