The problem is still present. I'm still stuck on Kubuntu 11.04, because of update problems concerning my work environment. I've updated my system (only patches) with a mobile connection without proxy, but that's not fully conform with the company rules so i would like to avoid that. I already thought about upgrading to 11.10 or soon to come 12.04 but the amount of data downloaded within such an update is too much for the data contingent of my mobile phone. And my last try within the company network ended up in mess because of the proxy issue.
I'll collect data again and post it here next week. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/797550 Title: indefinite download tries behind a proxy To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/apt/+bug/797550/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
