I found a fix for problem. When enabling sata alpm, the external display
with HDMI works. If you want to get also internal display working,
connect external display after you have logged in to X. This fix works
for precise's and upstream's kernel.

Fix: "echo SATA_ALPM_ENABLE=true | sudo tee /etc/pm/config.d/sata_alpm"
