I've noticed last evening that the point at which the hang up occurs is not always the same. It seems to be around the time the screen gets blanked prior to shutdown and is sometimes before and sometimes after the drive spins down. If the drive isn't getting spun down, has it definitely been unmounted at that point or is there potential for data loss?
