Hey, i tried the following via the Terminal-
gksudo /etc/default/grub <<enter>>
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="acpi=off noapic"  <<enter>>
sudo update-grub <<enter>>

then, after some processing, it told that menu.lst does not exist, would
you like to make your own?(y/N) and i pressed y <<enter>>

After that, i restarted Ubuntu. But still m unable to use keyboard.
Is there any mistake in this process??
