Thanks for filing this and helping to make Ubuntu better. I tried to
repro this today on 12.10. I restarted lightdm about 5 times and
rebooted 5 more and clicked on a few different indicators. I could not
repro the problem. Can you see if this still occurs for you? If so,
can you please post the versions of lightdm and unity-greeter? Also,
could you post the logs from /var/log/lightdm/? You will need to sudo
to read the files. The logs will contain your username, but I think
that's all. If you are uncomfortable posting them, you can email them
directly to me. Thanks.
